  I would like to thank the staff at ReActive Physiotherapy, specifically Chris Statten, for getting me back on my feet. I'm 35 years old and have been dealing with chronic patella tendonitis for the past five years that has been affecting me in my daily life. It was limiting me in the various sports and activities I used to participate in, to the point where I had to stop due to the short and long term pain it was causing. After trying different treatments over the past five years with mixed results I visited ReActive physio and Chris and was impressed with my quickly I saw progress. He provided me with a fresh perspective on the cause of my injury and gave me a dynamic workout and exercise routine that focused on the core reasons behind my injury not simply the pain itself. After some hard work and new understanding on the issue I'm pleased to say that my knee feels better than it has in years and I've been able to get back to the sports I was not able to play. Thanks to Chris and the staff at ReActive. Highly recommend

  I am a 66 year old active male with chronic joint pain and greatly reduced mobility from OA in both knees. At least three physicians, including my family doctor and an orthopedic surgeon, have recommended joint replacement surgery for my left knee. Before agreeing to surgery I wanted to "exhaust all my options." On the recommendation of my daughter, I went to ReActive Physiotherapy, where I was exceedingly fortunate to meet and work with Chris S. From the outset Chris was friendly, understanding, sympathetic, knowledgeable, and encouraging. After the initial diagnostic sessions, accompanied by conscientious therapeutic exercise at home, I began to enjoy reduced pain and greater mobility. After two months of bi-weekly 30 minute sessions with Chris, the pain is manageable without medication, and I am enjoying greater flexibility and mobility than I have in years. Stairs are no longer an excruciating ordeal. I wish I had gone to ReActive long before I did. Now that spring is here I continue to exercise daily, and I look forward to walking, cycling, and sailing with renewed vigour and enthusiasm. Thanks, Chris!
